The “SDG Stories” team at ESCWA is participating in the Second World Summit for Social Development. During the summit, the team launches volume V of the comic book “ESCWA Stories”. Inspired by the themes of the Summit, the book serves as the main tool for implementing the “SDG Stories” project in the Arab region.
The team is also organizing, in collaboration with the Qatari National Commission for Education, Culture, and Science, and Save the Children, a session titled “The Voice of Children and Youth: Together We Shape Our Arab Future.” The session features representatives from ESCWA, several policymakers, and students from Lebanon and Qatar. It is designed to enable youth to effectively communicate their perspectives to decision-makers and senior officials, articulate their views, and present constructive recommendations for addressing the development challenges confronting the Arab region.
