To support the Greater Irbid Municipality in implementing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its Goals, ESCWA and UN-Habitat, in collaboration with the Greater Irbid Municipality, organized a participatory workshop on the first Voluntary Local Review (VLR) of Irbid.
The workshop, held on 25 February, aimed at reviewing and validating the data collection process for the first VLR of Irbid, ensuring its accuracy and alignment with the city’s local development priorities. Discussions focused on transforming challenges and opportunities into actionable recommendations to support sustainable development.
Similarly, on 26 February, ESCWA, in partnership with UN-Habitat and the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM), officially launched in a workshop the Second VLR process for Amman.
