This workshop presents the Arab trade policy simulation interface. The interface is part of the simulation tools package ESCWA is developing to support decision-makers in structuring trade policies for greater competitiveness and integration into the global economy through the quantitative evaluation of trade policy options presented in negotiations prior to their implementation.
The workshop also presents applications specific to the United Arab Emirates and explains how to use the results provided by the platform in decision-making in a flexible and accessible way.
This workshop is part of a series of workshops on trade simulation tools held by ESCWA in various Arab countries.
