ESCWA, in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy and Planning in Saudi Arabia, is organizing a training workshop to reveal the beta version of the Global Economy Trade Simulator Interface (GETSI) for Saudi Arabia. This tool, developed by ESCWA, provides an interactive platform to model and assess the impact of trade policy shifts on Saudi Arabia and its key trading partners.
The workshop, which is being organized at the request of the Ministry of Economy and Planning, forms part of the ongoing technical support provided by ESCWA to its member States. It aims to strengthen the national team’s capacity to use GETSI for assessing global economic shocks and shifts in Saudi trade policies.
The workshop also serves as a platform for discussions on future collaboration, including enhancements to the simulation interface and technical support for ongoing trade negotiations between GCC countries and key trade partners.
