ESCWA is launching the Social Protection Platform in the Arab Region (SPAR) during the 11th Meeting of the Expert Group on Social Protection Reform.
SPAR is the region’s first comprehensive hub for reliable social protection information, tools, and best practices. It serves as a one-stop platform for policymakers, practitioners, and researchers to explore national systems, programmes, and reform trajectories across Arab countries. SPAR hosts a wide range of publications, news, training materials, and analytical instruments, including self-assessment templates and diagnostic tools designed to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of social protection systems.
The launch highlights the platform’s main features, collects user feedback, and considers improvements to better serve regional peer learning and knowledge exchange.
