As part the activities of the Multi-Stakeholder Platform for Protecting Biodiversity in the Arab Region, the Nature-Based Solutions for Climate Resilience Working Group, led by the American University of Beirut (AUB) and comprising 15 member institutions, is convening for its first in-person meeting.
The meeting is aimed at discussing a number of projects that propose nature-based solutions such as community-driven approaches for land and coastal ecosystems, ecosystem restoration, sustainable land management practices, and integrated watershed management to protect biodiversity and enhance climate resilience.
