As part of the series of capacity-building workshops for national policymakers, ESCWA is organizing, in partnership with the Ministry of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development in Morocco, back-to-back capacity-building workshops. These sessions are designed to support policy development aimed at advancing the integration of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) into the circular economy.
In Morocco, efforts in this area are already underway. The Ministry has initiated the development of a national circular economy roadmap. Additionally, dedicated national programmes are enhancing support for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises, fostering an environment conducive to scaling up circular economy practices.
