This workshop is organized within the scope of two projects on “Facilitating Arab regional and global integration through evidence-based policymaking toolkits” and “Boosting development and improving livelihoods in Arab countries through evidence-based policymaking” to officials from the Ministry of Trade and Industry in Egypt.
The workshop is aimed at equipping participants from the ministry with the skills needed to evaluate alternative trade scenarios, assess global trade shocks, and analyse the macroeconomic and sectoral effects of trade reforms and external shocks on the national economy.
