This workshop aims to provide participants with the essential skills to harness the power of Python for data analysis within official statistics, enabling them to manage, analyse and visualize data, and developing their skills to respond to contemporary challenges in the world of statistics.
The workshop aims to:
- Introduce participants to the ESCWA Trade Data Portal and its functions.
- Provide participants with the skills needed to write and execute Python codes for data analysis and visualization.
- Present analytical and statistical methods using Python to facilitate the analysis of official statistics.
- Enable participants to design and implement effective data visualizations using Python.
- Enable participants to calculate and analyse trade indicators using Python.
The workshop is held remotely over three days, with each session lasting three hours.
