Upon the request of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs in Somalia, ESCWA is organizing a workshop to conduct a comprehensive national review of the sector using the self-assessment tool.
The workshop aims to introduce the selected local research partner, clarify the roles of the Ministry concerned, the collaborator and ESCWA, and establish a workplan and timeline.
Participants include representatives from key Somali ministries, civil society, the private sector, and international organizations. ESCWA provides technical guidance and coordination throughout the process.
