The Intersessional Group of Experts on Disability of ESCWA is holding its 10th meeting, bringing together members of the Group representing member countries and the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities to:
- Review and discuss the outcomes of the 2025 Global Disability Summit, including Arab countries’ commitments and how to support their implementation;
- Present and consult on a position paper regarding the expected outcomes of the 2025 World Summit for Social Development;
- Identify and agree on priorities and proposed themes for the upcoming 11th session of the Intersessional Group of Experts on Disability to be held in person in October 2025.
