The Ministry of Social Affairs and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kuwait, in cooperation with ESCWA, are convening a national workshop focused on public policy priorities for the rights of older persons in Kuwait.
This workshop aims to review and discuss the draft National Strategy for Older Persons (2025–2030), strengthen coordination among stakeholders, and promote inclusive policies that protect the rights and dignity of older persons.
Participants include representatives from ministries and government departments, civil society organizations, international partners, national media, as well as experts and activists in the fields of aging and human rights.
