ESCWA is convening the online meeting “From Skills to Work: Digital and AI Transition for Women in the Arab Region” to discuss findings from its technical paper on how digital transformation and artificial intelligence are reshaping women’s employment opportunities across the region.
The meeting brings together gender and labour economists, researchers, practitioners, and representatives from selected Arab countries to validate the study’s methodology and recommendations, identify evidence gaps and policy priorities, and explore how AI can help translate women’s skills and qualifications into decent, sustainable employment in an increasingly digital economy.
