Within the preparations for the fifty-fourth session of the United Nations Statistical Commission (UNSC), ESCWA is holding a virtual meeting to tackle the provisional agenda items designated for "discussion and decision” during the fifteenth session of the ESCWA Statistical Committee. The aim is to come up with a unified Arab position that supports the regional statistical work, enhances the role of the statistical offices and reinforces the proposed national positions regarding those items (available on the UNSC webpage).
