ESCWA, in partnership with the International Center for the Promotion of Persons with Disabilities, is organizing a workshop to validate the National Disability Training Strategy in Tunisia. The strategy, designed for implementation by the Center as the Ministry of Social Affairs’ specialized arm, seeks to build the capacity of service providers, disability experts, and NGOs.
The workshop brings together representatives from ministries and relevant government bodies, organizations of persons with disabilities and civil society organizations, service providers and disability specialists, as well as training and academic institutions. Participants are invited to review and validate the final draft, confirm its training priorities, and discuss implementation modalities (in-person, remote, blended), as well as governance, financing, and monitoring and evaluation mechanisms.
