As part of the series of capacity-building workshops for national policymakers, ESCWA is organizing, in partnership with the Ministry of Economy in Oman, back-to-back capacity-building workshops. These sessions are designed to support policy development aimed at advancing the integration of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) into the circular economy.
In Oman, efforts in this area are guided by Vision 2040 and supported by ongoing initiatives led by the Ministry of Economy. These include the development of circular economy policy tools and a national roadmap process to advance the transition towards more resource-efficient and circular practices, particularly for SMEs.
